Common Roots Brewing is one of the premier brewing destinations in the region. They boast a brand new taproom with indoor and outdoor seating - and the patio is immaculate with lots of space, several outdoor fire pits, cornhole, and other activities. They even offer on-site EV charging, live music several nights per week, and an incredible beer selection. The food is an elevated american/pub style fare, including open-hearth pizzas, sandwiches, salads and appetizers. They boast dozens of beers, all crafted in-house, and they don’t specialize in any one particular style. Whether you’re a hoppy IPA lover, enjoy a dark and malty beer, a sour, lager, or anything in between - Common Roots has a beer for you. They also have beers to go, but even if you forget to grab one from the taproom, you’ll be able to find a few of their more popular brews at most grocery and convenience stores in the area. For the non-beer drinker, they also have hard seltzers, a selection of local wines, a few ciders and non-alcoholic beverages.

Activity: The parking lot is located behind their large taproom, which is hard to miss from the road. If you have an electric vehicle or require handicap accessible parking, there are spots much closer to the front entrance for you.
The staff at Common Roots love their beer and can talk extensively about each of their brews. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask. Our staff’s personal favorite is a dark lager called Chasing Night.
For food, it’s hard to go wrong. The selection is extensive, but their pizzas and appetizers tend to be the favorites. They have plenty of options for lighter fare or vegan/vegetarian friendly as well. If you’re picking a side, while we don’t think you can go wrong, we love their homemade potato chips which they slice and bake in-house.
While you enjoy your meal and beverage, make sure to check out the patio. They have cornhole available and the outdoor fire pits can keep you warm while giving you plenty of space for a party of any size. Check them out for their Wednesday trivia nights, or enjoy live music or one of their other events like live oyster bars. We highly recommend Common Roots for a fun outing and a great meal!
