CAMP HUDSON PINES POLICIES
CANCELLATION POLICY
We have a $15 cancellation fee for every reservation.
TENT/RV: Full refund up to 10 days prior, within 10 days charged the first night’s rental
CABINS/GLAMPING: Full refund up to 30 days prior, 50% refund up to 7 days prior, no refund within 7 days of your reservation. If a reservation is made less than 30, but more than 7 days of your stay we offer a 24 hour cancellation window.
CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT POLICY
TENT/RV: Check-in: 1 PM, Check-out: 11 AM
CABINS/GLAMPING: Check-in: 4 PM, Check-out: 10 AM
Early check-in requests are not guaranteed, but we will let you know if your site is ready early if you request an early check-in. Late checkout (until 12 pm) can be accommodated for a fee, based on availability. ($50 glamping, $100 cabins)
You are responsible for leaving your site clean or a fee may be assessed.
GOOD NEIGHBOR POLICY
Quiet hours are from 10 PM to 8 AM. Amplified sound or music is not permitted at any time. Please be courteous to other guests around you. No bright lights. Loud, objectionable noise is not allowed at any time (no generators). Profanity or violence will not be tolerated. Inconsiderate guests will be asked to leave. No littering of garbage or cigarette butts. Please recycle. If staff has to respond to a disturbance issue after 10 PM guests will be subject to a $100 fine.
CHILDREN POLICY
Camp Hudson Pines loves children! We welcome families and guests of all ages. Parents must supervise their children at all times. We ask that parents help our young guests to be respectful of their neighbors, the staff, and the surrounding property.
DOG POLICY
Camp Hudson Pines welcomes all well-behaved dogs to accompany their owners with the following rules:
TENT/RV: There is a 2 dog maximum, dogs must be added to your reservation but there is no fee.
CABINS/GLAMPING: We allow 1 dog with an 80 lb maximum weight for $75 per stay ($100 in the Oak)
We kindly ask guests who bring their dog to read our Dog Policy below before checking into Camp Hudson Pines.
Dogs must be added to your reservation prior to arrival.
Dogs MUST be kept on a maximum, 6-foot leash under owner supervision and may not be left unattended at any time.
Guests are responsible to “clean up” after their dog. All dog waste must be properly disposed of in trash cans in closed doggie bags.
Noisy, aggressive or unruly dogs are not allowed.
Camp Hudson Pines is not responsible for, and will hold the dog owner accountable, for any injury or damage caused by their dog.
Dogs are not allowed in swimming areas or bathrooms.
SMOKING POLICY
On Camp Hudson Pines property, no smoking or vaping of any substance is allowed in any building or within 30 feet of any common areas including the pool, the pavilion, the grassy waterfront, the cabins, and group campfires.
RV/TENT: Guests may smoke on RV sites and tent sites on Pine Loop. Smoking is not permitted on tent sites on Linden Lane.
CABIN/GLAMPING/LINDEN LANE TENTS: NO SMOKING is allowed anywhere on the site.
The non-smoking policy refers to cigarettes, cigars, cannabis, and e-cigarettes. Cigarettes may not be dropped on the ground and must be disposed of properly.
OCCUPANCY POLICY
Cabins may be occupied only by the number of people on your reservation. No additional guests are allowed.
VEHICLE POLICY
We allow for one vehicle per site. If you have a second vehicle, please call the main office to see if we can accommodate it. The cabins have room for two vehicles.
Maximum speed on the campground is limited to 5 miles per hour.
WATER POLICY
The campground has waterfront access to the Hudson River and a heated pool. Both are open for use between Memorial Day and Labor Day. Here are the rules regarding both:
Guests assume full responsibility for their own safety, and that of their children, in and near any water.
There are NO LIFEGUARDS at the pool, beach, or river. Swim at your own risk.
There is a designated swimming area on the river.
Children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent, guardian or responsible adult over 21. Children must be potty trained or wear swim diapers with covers to use the pool or waterfront..
NEVER SWIM ALONE. Individuals, including adults, should never swim in the pool or river alone. Per the NY Health Department, a minimum of two adults 18 years of age or older, must be present whenever the pool or waterfront are in use, with at least one adult on the pool deck or waterfront.
IN AN EMERGENCY, NOTIFY “911”, THEN THE FACILITY OPERATOR IMMEDIATELY. A free emergency telephone is provided at the beach and pool.
The Pool and Beach may only be used during posted hours of operation. All posted rules must be followed.
Kayaks are available for rent through our Camp Store. A liability waiver must be signed and lifejackets worn. Guests kayak at their own risk.
No personal boats or watercrafts of any kind may be brought to Camp Hudson Pines without permission from the office.
WIFI/CAMERAS
Wifi has been installed in the campground and at each cabin as an amenity. Campground wifi is not guaranteed and may be variable in quality and speed from site to site. If it goes down, we will do our best to restore it, but it may take some time.
Please note that we do have cameras in common areas only for the safety of Camp Hudson Pines guests.
FIRE POLICY:
Fires are allowed in designated fire rings only. Fires must be monitored and properly distinguished. Burning of trash is prohibited. Per NY State law, firewood must be obtained within a 50 mile radius of the campground. Firewood is available for purchase at our Camp Store.
BATHHOUSE POLICY
Two bathhouses are available on Pine Loop and one on Linden Lane. Dogs are not allowed in the bathhouses. There is a dish washing station outside of the Linden Lane Bathhouse and the lower Pine Loop bathhouse. Guests may not wash dishes in the bathhouses. Camp Hudson Pines is on a septic system and only septic approved toilet paper may be flushed down the toilet. Feminine hygiene products may not be flushed.
PROHIBITED
Guns, weapons of any sort, fireworks, illegal drugs, ATVs/UTVs, controlled substances or paraphernalia, and violations of any law are prohibited at Camp Hudson Pines.
TREE POLICY
Trees and the beauty and shade they provide are an integral part of the Adirondacks and your experience here at Camp Hudson Pines. However, trees pose a natural hazard of falling debris and branches. We do not assume responsibility for these natural hazards or for any property damage, injury, or other circumstances that may result.
CHANGES IN OFFERING AND OTHER INCIDENTALS
Amenities and services are subject to change without notice. Specific site numbers are not guaranteed and subject to change. We will do our best to fill specific requests. Our cabins are each unique and we will not change a cabin reservation without reaching out to the guest first.
SECURITY
Camp Hudson Pines is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged articles. Report any problems with your site to the onsite team immediately. We adhere to and maintain all state, county and local laws. In an emergency, please call 911. For after hours emergencies please text the campground host at (518) 654-6630. After hour assistance is not guaranteed.
RESERVATION CANCELLATION BY PROPERTY POLICY
Camp Hudson Pines reserves the right to cancel a reservation for any unforeseen reason. In the event a reservation cancellation is deemed necessary, we will reschedule at guest’s request based on availability, or cancel and refund your reservation in full.
