FAQ

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Are you a campground?

Yes! We think campgrounds are centered around community and connection and that is exactly the vibe we are going for. We combine the vintage and nostalgic part of a campground but with modern touches.

What types of sites do you offer?

We believe nature should be accessible to everyone. We offer different types of sites and accommodations so you can stay your way. We have waterfront cabins that vary in size from sleeping 4 up to 10 people. We have tiny houses and Airstreams. We have canvas glamping tents that are spacious and comfortable. We also offer traditional tent and RV sites.

I am interested in a cabin, what should I expect?

Our cabins are all waterfront and each one is unique. Each of them come with all the bedding, dishes and towels you will need. They differ in size and what they offer but all have a kitchen with a fridge and an oven with stove top. Some offer a dishwasher or washer and dryer while others do not. There is no smoking allowed in or around our cabins. Read up on each of the cabins so you can find the perfect fit for you.

I am interested in a glamping tent, what should I expect?

Think of glamping as camping but in comfort. We have the comfiest beds around and all the bedding and towels you will need. We have an electric kettle for you to make tea or pour over coffee in your tent. There is a spot for you to plug in small electronics in the tent. There is a fan and an electric fireplace in the tent to help keep you cool(er) and warm(er) depending on the season. We have the nicest bathhouse around with five individual bathrooms with a shower, sink and toiler inside of each.

You will want to bring your own mugs, and food to eat or plan on eating out. We have a camp box you can rent for cooking and eating, an ice chest in the tent and a camp store with snacks, ice, firewood and souvenirs.

You will have neighbors in nearby glamping tents! There is no smoking anywhere on our glamping sites.

I am interested in your Airstream or Tiny Houses, what should I expect?

These are your middle ground between our cabins and glamping. They have air conditioning and heat, a bathroom and a kitchenette. They have everything you need without the extra. They have comfy beds, all your linens and towels and dishes for inside cooking. If you are interested in cooking outside then you may be interested in renting our camp box! There is no smoking on these sites.

I am interested in traditional camping, what should I expect?

Our RV sites and tent camping are mostly all on our Pine Loop or in the Meadows nearer to the camp store and pool. It is only a short walk to the river. Our sites lean more rustic and have lots of trees around. Every site has water and an electric hook up. Our bathhouses are a short walking distance away and very clean but a bit more rustic. You will always have neighbors but the sites are not right on top of each other.

What amenities do you have?

Check out our amenities page! We have walking paths, a grassy waterfront and kayaks to rent, a pool open from Memorial Day to Labor Day, a playground and lawn games. Some people come to explore the area but find it so relaxing and fun here that they don’t want to leave!

What rules do you have?

Check out our policies page! It has an answer to most everything you need to know. Here are a few of the most popular questions:

Do we have quiet hours? YES! (10 pm to 8 am).

Do we allow dogs? YES! (Check out the rules and prices depending on the way you choose to stay).

Check-in and check-out time, cancellation policies and more can all be found HERE.

I want to visit in the Adirondacks in the winter, are you open?

The majority of Camp Hudson Pines is open from early May through mid-October. But we do have some cabins available all year! In the off season it is much quieter here and you have a lot of space to enjoy nature by yourselves. The main amenities are mostly closed but the river views are always there! There is a lot to do in the off season from skiing to maple taping to magical train rides.
